Deborah Peterson
Deborah Peterson of Old Man Wool Farm has been raising sheep for many, many years—decades, in fact. She started knitting as an adolescent and graduated to spinning when she decided to put the sheep to use for fiber producers. Several years ago, she bought an antique Davis and Furber card and a picker. With the help of her dad, they spent a year reconditioning, refurbishing, oiling, and fixing it before actually seeing it run.
